Monday: Review Stations
Students rotate through two review stations to review Quarter 1 concepts -Combining Like Terms and Simplifying Expressions. Combining Like Terms Station is a color by number worksheet (LINK) shaped like a fish and Simplifying Expressions Station is an in class VersaTiles activity using the VersaTiles manipulatives.

Fractions Station is a competitive game in which students take turns facing off at the board to solve operations with fractions problems. Decimals Station is a group activity , Out to Lunch (LINK), in which students picked out items from a menu and calculated the total bill, including tax.

Students took notes in their Unit Book on solving equations for x by using inverse operations to isolate the variable. Students then created four 1-Step Equations problems, traded with a partner, and solved their partners' equations for x.
